OUR MISSION
POU HIRINGA is all about inspiring rangatahi to wellness.
Our Tairawhiti youth have experienced unprecendented life changing events over the last 4 years with COVID, COVID 2.0, COVID 2.1, cyclones and flooding and everyday life.
As a result, statistics paint a grim picture of the mental health of our Tairawhiti youth. We hope to change that by inspiring our Tairawhiti to wellness using local kapa haka rolemodels.

POU HIRINGA is a series of Tairawhiti based COLLECTABLE HAKA CARDS featuring our 3 roopu who represented the Tairawhiti region at Te Matatini in 2023. (Plans to extend to our all of our Tairawhiti Roopu are already underway!)
